Gabbi goes Fitness

MY WHY

My sister, while battling cancer, talked about how she would celebrate “little wins” on any given day - going for a walk, having energy to play with her son, painting her nails.

I teach fitness as a celebration of our minds and bodies, and as a recognition of when we are taking them for granted. It is a privilege and gift to be able to move and breathe in any capacity. When we leave behind the expectations of external motivators to look or feel a certain way, we can focus on uncovering joy and gratitude for what we are capable of.

“Gabbi’s classes are a celebration. They are about JOY. The joy of movement, of breath, of connection, of being. Gabbi’s classes are everything you could want from a fitness class. Grounded, inspiring, peaceful, inspiring. It’s magic.”

“Gabbi has been a ray of sunshine in my life since the moment I met her. From our first Barre3 class together, I felt connected to her not just as my instructor but as a human being and friend. Whether she is hyping me up during barre3 or calmly talking me through restorative yoga, she makes the outside world melt away for an hour at a time. Gabbi challenges me in a way that is mindful and empowering while encouraging me to focus inward on what feels best for me. Thank you so much, Gabbi!!"

“Gabbi is a really extraordinary, special teacher. Her barre3 classes always go out of the box in ways I love. She challenges me physically while somehow nurturing my mind and soul at the same time. I love, love, love working out with her!”
